Terms & Conditions – Sustainability Power Play Maker Contest

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

The contest is open to legal residents of Michigan, age 18 or older at the time of entry.
Employees of Priority Waste, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or marketing agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, or children) or persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

2. How to Enter

To enter, complete the official nomination form available at
prioritywaste.com/ticket-giveaway

Entries must include:

  • Nominator’s full name, email, and phone number.

  • Nominee’s name and optional contact information.

  • A minimum 100-word description explaining why the nominee deserves to be recognized as a Sustainability Power Play Maker, including examples of sustainability leadership, environmental education, recycling programs, conservation, or waste reduction efforts.

Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified. Limit one entry per nominator. Duplicate entries will not be accepted.

3. Entry Period

The contest begins on Friday, November 8, 2025, and ends on Wednesday, December 18, 2025 (“Entry Period”).
All entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on December 18, 2025, to be eligible.

4. Prize

One (1) winner will receive:
🎟️ Two (2) tickets to the Detroit Red Wings vs. Dallas Stars game on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Little Caesars Arena (Detroit, MI).

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value. Priority Waste reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary. Transportation, parking, food, and other expenses are not included.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

Entries will be reviewed and judged by representatives of Priority Waste based on the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated leadership in sustainability or environmental education.

  • Real, measurable impact in schools, neighborhoods, or communities.

  • Creativity and innovation in promoting recycling, conservation, or waste reduction.

The winner will be notified via email and/or phone by Friday, December 20, 2025.
If the winner does not respond within three (3) business days, an alternate winner may be selected.

6. Publicity Release

By entering, participants grant Priority Waste, LLC the right to use their name, likeness, story, and submitted content (including essays, photos, and videos) for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes across any media without additional compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law.

7. General Conditions

Priority Waste reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs its integrity or proper functioning.
All decisions made by Priority Waste are final and binding.
Priority Waste reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these Terms & Conditions or is deemed inappropriate, inaccurate, or incomplete.

8. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants release and hold harmless Priority Waste, LLC, its affiliates, partners, and the Detroit Red Wings from any claims, losses, damages, or liability arising from participation in the contest or acceptance/use of the prize.
