Priority Waste is proud to partner with the City of Lawrence to provide reliable trash and recycling collection services. Throughout the city’s rich history, Lawrence has focused on providing a welcoming environment and building a collaborative mentality. The “Lawrence is Beautiful, Anti-Litter Program” is a fitting example of the collaborative mentality being utilized today. The goal of the campaign is to eliminate existing litter, engage partners, educate the community, ensure infrastructure has been established, and enforce the litter laws. Priority is the company investing in modern technology to provide the cleanest, safest, and most efficient service in the industry. Service Days
- Compost Pickup Period: 4/1/2026 – 4/30/2026 & 11/01/2026 – 11/31/2026. Collected in April and November only. 15 bag maximum for the month. Any additional compost requires an overage tag purchased from the City DPW office.
- Bulk Pick Up/Special Pick Up: Must schedule Special Pick Up on the Lawrence webpage on prioritywaste.com and pay per item ($10 per item, up to 3 items).
