Trash & Recycling Pickup
Priority is proud to serve the trash and recycling pickup needs of Dearborn Heights, a community known for its rich cultural heritage, historical importance and strong sense of community. The City of Dearborn Heights was incorporated in 1963 and is approximately 11.75 square miles with a population of around 55,000 residents. The city features a mix of residential and commercial areas, offering a suburban lifestyle with the convenience of having a larger city nearby. Our dedicated team is committed to helping the residents of Dearborn Heights preserve the beautiful of their dynamic community.
Service Days
- Compost Pickup Period: April 1 through the second Friday of December. Any can up to 35 gal, must be labeled, or compost bags, or bundles. Up to 8 total per week accepted.
- Bulk Pick Up/Special Pick Up: Bulk: No Special Pick Up needed if up to 2 items per week or 8 bags. Any additional will be assessed by LDC and billed.
Collection Information
- Waste, Compost, and Recycling are picked up on the same day.
- Compost Collection is from April 1 through the second Friday of December.
