The Heart Behind the Hard Work Recognition Contest

1. Eligibility

The contest is open to individuals age 18 or older at the time of entry.
Nominees must be current employees of Priority Waste, LLC, in good standing with the company at the time of nomination and award.

Nominations may be submitted by Priority Waste employees, supervisors, LDCs, customers, or members of the public.

Employees responsible for administering this contest are not eligible to win.


2. How to Enter

To enter, complete the official nomination form available through Priority Waste channels.

Each nomination must include:

  • Name and position of the person submitting the nomination

  • Name of the nominee

  • Municipality or area the nominee serves

  • Date and description of the qualifying act

  • Confirmation that the act occurred while the nominee was working or representing Priority Waste

Optional:

  • Photo or video supporting the nomination

Incomplete or inaccurate submissions may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Priority Waste. There is no limit to the number of nominations a nominee may receive; however, each act must be a separate, qualifying instance.


3. Entry Period

The contest begins on Monday, February 9, 2026, and ends on Thursday, February 27, 2026 (“Entry Period”).

Only acts occurring within the Entry Period will be eligible for consideration.


4. Prize

Weekly winners will be selected during the Entry Period.

Each weekly winner will receive:
🍽️ One (1) $200 restaurant gift card, selected from a Priority Waste customer restaurant based on the winner’s general location.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value. Priority Waste reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.


5. Winner Selection & Notification

All eligible nominees will be entered into a random drawing for each contest week.

One (1) winner will be selected per week, for a total of three (3) winners.

Winners will be notified through internal communication channels and/or direct contact. If a selected winner is deemed ineligible or unavailable, an alternate winner may be selected.

Additionally:

  • The yard with the highest total number of nominations during the contest period will receive a visit from the Priority Waste sales team with treats.

All decisions made by Priority Waste are final.


6. Publicity Release

By participating, nominators and nominees grant Priority Waste, LLC the right to use names, likenesses, job titles, submitted stories, photos, and videos for recognition, promotional, and marketing purposes across digital, print, and social media channels without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.


7. General Conditions

Priority Waste reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if circumstances arise that compromise fairness, integrity, or proper operation.

Priority Waste also reserves the right to disqualify any nomination that is incomplete, misleading, inappropriate, or does not align with company values.


8. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants and nominees release and hold harmless Priority Waste, LLC, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liability arising from participation in the contest or acceptance or use of the prize.
