Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of Michigan, age 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees of Priority Waste, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/marketing agencies, and immediate family members or persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

2. How to Enter

To enter, complete the official nomination form at prioritywaste.com/ticket-giveaway

Entries must include:

  • Nominator’s full name, email, and phone number.
  • Nominee’s name and optional contact information.
  • A minimum 100-word essay describing why the nominee should be honored as a Sustainability Home Run Hitter, including examples of sustainability leadership, environmental education, recycling initiatives, or waste reduction efforts.

Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified. Limit one entry per nominator.

3. Entry Period

The Contest begins on 8/11 and ends on 9/12 (“Entry Period”). All entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on the end date.

4. Prize

One winner will receive 4 home plate tickets & Parking to an upcoming Detroit Tigers game at Comerica Park (Thursday 9/18 1:10 PM Vs Guardians)

Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value. Priority Waste reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

Entries will be reviewed by Priority Waste based on the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated leadership in sustainability or environmental education.
  • Impact in schools, neighborhoods, or communities.
  • Creativity in promoting recycling, conservation, or waste reduction.

The winner will be notified via email and/or phone within five (5) business days after the contest ends. If the winner does not respond within three (3) business days, an alternate winner may be selected.

6. Publicity Release

By entering, you grant Priority Waste the right to use your name, likeness, and submitted content (including essays and photos) for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes in any media without further compensation or notice, except where prohibited by law.

7. General Conditions

Priority Waste reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical issues, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest. All decisions by Priority Waste are final.

8. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants release and hold harmless Priority Waste, its affiliates, and the Detroit Tigers from any claims, damages, or liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of the prize.

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Major League Baseball or the Detroit Tigers.
